Foundation settles patients’ medical bills in Ogun hospital

Blossom Heart Foundation, a nonprofit,

The intervention covered patients in the male and female medical wards, children’s ward and emergency unit of the hospital, offering “financial relief to vulnerable patients” receiving treatment.

The foundation’s President, Olanipekun Olawale, said the initiative was part of “efforts to give back to society and support people facing financial difficulties.”

This was contained in a release shared with PUNCH Online on Wednesday which noted that the outreach was “part of activities marking its eighth anniversary.”

Speaking during the anniversary activities, Olawale urged “well-meaning individuals to assist less privileged people in their communities,” stressing that “collective efforts were essential to improving the welfare of vulnerable members of society.”
